Specification and features

5 percent silver alloy solder used for soldering copper and copper alloys. Contains solder contains phosphorus, so it is specially designed to solder together copper with copper or copper alloys (brass, bronze). When soldering copper to copper, additional flux may not be used due to the phosphorus content. This solder must not be used in sulphurous environments. Also, this solder is not suitable for soldering steels (Fe) and nickel alloys, as brittle zones are formed. It is most often used to solder copper pipes and copper parts. Because of silver, contained in the solder, the soldered area becomes plastic, much more resistant to dynamic and thermal effects.
